Episode Summary[]
Hovering Stebrook over Yenpool, the gang approaches the city below. They meet members of the revolting resistance in the city, who advise them to seek Imhotep. He informs the party that there is a secret way into Yenpool, bypassing guards and defenses. The underground is plagued by mummies. At the end of it, a creature teleports the group away to a different plane. In this new place they find a Book of the Dead, and foreign gods who intend to judge the group by their sins. Unsurprisngly, the hearts in the group weigh heavy, save for Stark’s. The gods then set loose a monstrosity to devour the sinners, so the group must fight for survival. Torrin and Stark are defeated and fall unconscious. Merethyl heroically strikes two devastating blows, and Devin finally kills the monster. Following that, the group witnesses Siltharic Khashab in conversation with a ghostly shade of Silaqui. Siltharic is told that she has outlasted her own usefulness to Silaqui. The group then proceed to attack and kill Khashab.
